History of working in a variety of settings including private practice, inpatient adult and adolescent psychiatric programs, outpatient mental health programs, and consultation in stress debriefing and crisis management. Assists leadership in local churches and counseling care in Christian missionary agencies. Taught at the University level at Holy Family College and the University of Pennsylvania, as well as directed the supervision of community clinical sites at the University of Pennsylvania.

Graduated with a B.S.N. from the University of Pittsburgh. Received a M.S.N in Child and Family Therapy from the University of Pennsylvania. Board-Certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Post-Graduate Certificate in Family Therapy from the Family Institute of Philadelphia.
